Dende’s work with Timbalada is the real deal. His videos present extremely thoughtful pedagogy and interactivity in his clinic/presentation style. This would be a PASIC highlight for not only students of Brazilian music, but those who have not experienced Samba Reggae/Samba Afro. PASIC could also benefit greatly from having a hands-on masterclass experience.

This topic for this masterclass is terrific and one I have not seen often. Additionally, the performer, having been part of the talented and famous group Timbalada, seems to be quite experienced and would offer a lot of valuable knowledge.

He clearly knows how to play and also knows how to teach. The aspect of Samba has been presented in the past, BUT I think it is popular enough that people would want to see it again and get a lot from it. The only concern I have is will there be a translator from Portuguese or is he fluent enough in English that he can give the clinic in that language.

There is similar topic on recent PASIC but we still need something like this. Can be under world and interactive. The video and bio shows that he has wide experience in presenting workshops. It will benefit our attendees too.
