This topic is very interesting and again a historically underrepresented area at PASIC. The application could use a bit more clarity - it appears there is discussion of orchestral percussion approaches compared to traditional Colombian percussion, and it is a bit unclear how these will be compared/discussed.

I think this is a topic that could be of great value to PASIC. I have not looked too deeply, but I do not recall seeing a lot of Colombian music content, so this would be valuable to include. Upon watching the video submitted, I was not 100% convinced of the applicant's expertise in the performance of this music, but that does not mean he would not be a great source of information.

I understand he wants to demonstrate music from the different areas of Colombia and South America, but I don't think he is as proficient a percussionist in those instruments as he is on marimba or as a conductor.

You may consider this to virtual PASIC. But it's also good to have some groups from other country. I hope he has endorsements that can support his instruments.
