I think this is a good topic, though similar clinics have been presented before. I wish an accompanying video/audio had been provided to learn more about the applicant's abilities, but from his bio, it seems like he has had excellent teachers. This clinic would be beneficial to educators or performers who are not too familiar with Latin percussion. Conversely, it might not be of the greatest interest to those who are more experienced, since this wants to cover the fundamentals.

I think this is something that has been done a bunch with regard to Latin Percussion basics. BUT, I do think this would be great as a FUNdamentals clinic. There should always be a couple of World Percussion basic clinics for people that are new to PAS and want somewhere to dive in.

I believe that fundamentals on percussion must be presented or part of our annual PASIC. Carlos' topics are common to some online educational videos but it's also a different experience if presented in-person. So I hope that we consider this one for in-person or priority at virtual PASIC. Thank you.
