Steve's work on the vibraphone is really stellar and I've observed many of his excellent contributions to the art form over the years. With all of the repertoire that requires bowing, I think this could be an excellent clinic that would be instructive to pros and students alike. I know I've alway wanted to improve my bowing.

The session description could use a lot more detail, especially in terms of clear objectives. The interactive component sounds really good, but holding mallets is different than bows. Also, it seems that most people do not walk around PASIC with their mallets and sticks. I do think this is a great topic and a pedagogy that is underserved.

Necessary but rare topic.
I wish this was more introductory. Bows are very poorly understood in the percussion community. This presentation goes past most peoples skill level to something less applicable.
Evidence that this clinic is well thought out and organized.
Possibly this clinic exists more to justify performing in public or to self promote than to teach.

While an interesting and beneficial topic, I'm sure. I would rather have seen a more practical approach to bowing in a more simplified technique. Perhaps demonstrating his multi-bow technique as a culmination.
