I like the idea of introducing improvisation to students early on. And this is a well-thought out way to go about that. Not sure how original it is compared with previous topics or other things often heard at PASIC.

Improvisation is a common, but important topic. He likely has a lot of good ideas, but I would have appreciated a lot more detail given how common these applications for improvisation have become. I think this could be useful for many people, but the application leaves me wanting more information.

Often done topic but usually done poorly if not lead by Anders Astrand. Applicant seems to have a clear idea of their intended trajectory for the clinic, which has been lacking in past versions of this clinic.

Description is a little vague but I think there is significant evidence of a plan and organization.

Excellent well thought out topic and plan that relates to a work that almost every percussion student that has gone through the US school system has likely played or experienced. However, I feel it is a topic that is often covered.
