This is an interesting clinic. Many percussionists would be interested in refining their improvisation skills and finding their own voice. I wish there had been more detail on what the clinic will include exactly, as well as the geographical source of his material. From the audio provided and his biography, the applicant seems very qualified. My main concern is that he takes the traditions too outside of their context and it does not fit in the world category anymore, though it was hard to tell without more information.

I think the talk of feel and swing are something that doesn't always get talked about and is an important part of playing percussion beyond the notes and various grooves.
