ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Jerry Noble is currently the Director of Percussion at Wright State, member of the Dayton Philharmonic, and performs regularly with his pop/jazz group “Moment’s Notice.” Previously positions include the USAF Band of Flight, Star of Indiana’s “Brass Theater”, and drummer for Princess Cruises. Jerry has taught at Brevard Music Center, University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands, Masterworks Festival, and has presented clinics throughout the US and China. He has performed as timpanist/percussionist with the Cincinnati Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Alabama Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and drumset/percussion for nationally touring Broadway shows. Former teachers include Tom Freer, Jim Culley, Rusty Burge, Gerald Carlyss, Glenn Schaft, Jim Rupp, and Kenny Aronoff. He is on the artist teams for Pear/Adams, Zildjian, Promark, and Evans.

Specifics: The importance of being together, basic sound concepts on each instrument, who to listen for, placement in the ensemble, effective tips for commonly neglected instruments.
